Dr Jacob Gan is the man behind this site. 

He has always thought that orchids are the most glamorous of all flowers.  He wants to share his passion about orchids.  Through this site, he hopes to help spread knowledge on orchids, by providing information about orchids, horticulture, gardening and landscaping.
